The D2A girls got the full college experience this week by visiting the University of Missouri!
Out of all the amenities on campus, they were most shocked by how big some of the classes can be. They were able to sit in an empty lecture hall of 500 seats!
The funniest question of the day was, “Is it embarrassing to fall asleep in front of that many people?”
Along with a tour, the girls had a nutritious lunch and learned that it is possible to eat healthy in college (despite the rumors of the Freshman 15/Mizzou 22.)
As a special treat, members of the Epsilon Psi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta and the Alpha Rho Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho performed a few steps and taught the girls a little about Greek Life on campus.
On behalf of Desire to Aspire, we would like to thank all the wonderful women who made the trip successful!
Now it’s your turn! Have you visited a college campus before? What was your experience like? Feel free to leave a comment below with your favorite part about your trip.
